Just noticed that OS X Lion has a new feature in the right click menu. When you select a word and right click it, Apple will now show the option to "Tweet" it and to "Open as Twitter Username". The last option only shows when one word is selected. 

UPDATE: Right clicking a link adds "Add to reading list"..
